Steve Goodwin came to Florida in 2020 in search of a home when the Covid 19 virus put many Americans out of work. It wasn’t long before realizing that sitting back was not an option. After many years working outdoors in the Northeast, many roles in the construction industry had been accomplished. Suffice it to say, starting at the bottom and ending up at the top in construction management, it was a great ride. I enjoyed working with everyone from the beginning days with back breaking work, to the most recent construction site, I learned something from everyone along the way. I decided to start out in the Real Estate field and put my construction background to use in a new and different environment. Can’t wait to see how the past experience relates to the present role. As a construction manager much of the day was spent on contract management which I believe will be one of the most relevant experiences for both past and present. As a builder, you find the devil is in the details, as the saying goes. I always enjoyed working as a team and I see my future in Real Estate as an extension of that idea. The team wins when everyone meets the goal. I am thankful to my family members who made the move to Florida ahead of me and drew me to this part of the country. It has been great to meet so many other Americans from all over the U.S. Look forward to meeting many more residents of this great area in the years to come.
